{Happy Christmas} San Perlita Texas Family Photographers
Our extended family wishes you a merry Christmas!
Here is a quote from one of my favorite movie and book, How the Grinch Stole Christmas:
“And the Grinch, with his Grinch-feet ice cold in the snow, stood puzzling and puzzling, how could it be so? It came without ribbons. It came without tags. It came without packages, boxes or bags. And he puzzled and puzzled ’till his puzzler was sore. Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn’t before. What if Christmas, he thought, doesn’t come from a store. What if Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more.”- Dr. Seuss
We hope you had a wonderful Christmas filled with moments of ‘a little bit more’!

{Mean Christmas} San Perlita Texas Family Photographers
Our family at Christmas. We all tried our best at being an angry Christmas ‘Grinch’. I love how some people struggled to be angry. They ended up laughing instead of being angry. I guess anger is an emotion that is difficult to do on command, but easy naturally.
Here is the song lyrics from the original movie:
You're a mean one, Mr. Grinch
You really are a heel,
You're as cuddly as a cactus, you're as charming as an eel, Mr. Grinch,
You're a bad banana with a greasy black peel!
You're a monster, Mr. Grinch,
Your heart's an empty hole,
Your brain is full of spiders, you have garlic in your soul, Mr. Grinch,
I wouldn't touch you with a thirty-nine-and-a-half foot pole!
You're a foul one, Mr. Grinch,
You have termites in your smile,
You have all the tender sweetness of a seasick crocodile, Mr. Grinch,
Given a choice between the two of you I'd take the seasick crocodile!
You're a rotter, Mr. Grinch,
You're the king of sinful sots,
Your heart's a dead tomato splotched with moldy purple spots, Mr. Grinch,
You're a three decker sauerkraut and toadstool sandwich with arsenic sauce!
You nauseate me, Mr. Grinch,
With a nauseous super "naus"!,
You're a crooked dirty jockey and you drive a crooked hoss, Mr. Grinch,
Your soul is an appalling dump heap overflowing with the most disgraceful
assortment of rubbish imaginable mangled up in tangled up knots!
You're a foul one, Mr. Grinch,
You're a nasty wasty skunk,
Your heart is full of unwashed socks, your soul is full of gunk, Mr. Grinch,
The three words that best describe you are as follows, and I quote,
"Stink, stank, stunk"!

“The older I grow the more earnestly I feel that the few joys of childhood are the best that life has to give.” Ellen Glasgow
During the time we spent with the Nieto family, we played on swings, in a haystack, ran a race, rock paper scissors, video games and so much more. Childhood is such a great time of life. I appreciate the vivid imagination, laughter, innocence, playfulness and creativity of J, F and C.

Being from a small nuclear family, I missed out on all of the crazy and fun moments of larger families. We treasure the times we are able to travel to South Texas to visit Jonny’s family. Living 12 hours away means we do not have the opportunity to see each other much. We spent a little time taking some family photos of the whole bunch and bribed the cute nephews with ice cream for a longer photo shoot!

“No act of kindness, no matter how small, is wasted” Aesop Fables
The Reyes family is a family everyone should know. They are compassionate, generous and kindhearted. Their kindness is not small it is noticed. I am grateful for each time I get to spend time with them. They are a beautiful family inside and out.

“The love of a family is life’s greatest blessing”
This family is blessed with three great children. The oldest is a kind hearted free spirit, the middle child is determined and playful and the youngest is funny and curious. As we were ending our session up, a beautiful sunset appeared making the scene so picturesque as the three played. I look forward to watching them grow!
